Is this translation accepted by USCIS?
Yes. USCIS requires a complete English translation together with a certification that the translator is competent and the translation is accurate (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)). Every order includes that signed certification on company letterhead, with an order number that can be independently verified on our
verification page. If USCIS ever rejects a translation we prepared, we revise it free of charge or refund you in full.
Who translates my document, and who is accountable for it?
Translations are produced through RENDUN LIMITED's translation process, which combines translation technology with multi-step verification: names, dates and numbers get an independent second reading. Documents the system flags as handwritten, damaged or complex are reviewed by a person before delivery. Every certificate is signed by the company's authorised representative, who takes responsibility for the translation, and carries our postal address, telephone number, email address and a public verification link. USCIS specifies what a certification must contain, not who performs the translation; ours contains every required element. If USCIS rejects a translation, we refund it.
How can an officer or employer verify that this translation is genuine?
Three ways, none of which need an account. 1) The order number on the certificate can be entered at certmytranslation.com/verify, which confirms the order was issued by us, the date, the language pair and the document type — never names or contents. 2) The certification page carries a Document ID computed from the translation itself; the verification page shows the same ID, so a certificate whose text has been altered will not match. 3) The verification page shows the SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact PDF we issued and lets anyone check a PDF file against it in the browser without uploading it. The certificate also carries our telephone number and email for direct enquiries.
Do I need a notarized translation?
Not for USCIS. USCIS removed the notarization requirement decades ago — a certified translation is exactly what the instructions ask for. Some DMVs, courts and apostille processes do want notarization; if that is your situation, contact us and we will point you to a suitable notarized-translation provider.
How fast will I get my translation?
Typical orders are delivered in under 10 minutes. Handwritten, damaged or low-resolution documents are routed to manual review and delivered within 24 hours — you'll see the status on your order page.
What does it cost?
$19.95 per page, flat. No subscriptions, no accounts, no upsells. You pay with PayPal or card and download a finished PDF: translation, signed certification page, and a copy of your original.
Is my document safe?
Files are encrypted in transit and never used to train AI models. We keep your uploads and finished translations securely on file so you can request a copy or a correction whenever you need one. Prefer deletion? Email us any time and everything is removed within 48 hours.
What if something in my document is unreadable?
Industry practice (and USCIS expectation) is to mark unreadable text as [Illegible] rather than guess. Our multi-step verification compares two independent AI readings plus your own confirmation of names and dates, so nothing is silently invented.
Do I need to translate the whole chat history?
USCIS wants evidence of ongoing, genuine communication, not a transcript of the relationship. Immigration attorneys generally advise a dated selection — first contact, plans to meet, the trip, family introductions, wedding or engagement planning, everyday messages after visits — and keeping the full export available. Can I translate my own WhatsApp messages for USCIS?
USCIS does not forbid it, but a translation certified by the applicant or spouse is the kind of thing that draws a Request for Evidence, because the certifier is not independent. A third-party certified translation removes that objection.
How should I take the screenshots?
Full-screen captures with the contact name and the date header visible, one screenshot per file, in chronological order. Do not crop — a partial screenshot invites questions about what was left out. JPG, PNG or WebP.
What about voice notes and videos?
This service translates the text on the screen. Voice notes appear in the translation as [Voice message] with their length; we do not transcribe audio. USCIS cannot play audio files in any case — attorneys usually describe or summarize them in a declaration instead.
Will USCIS accept this?
No translator can promise what an officer will do. What we can say is that the certification contains every element 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) requires, and that if a translation we prepared is rejected for a defect in the translation, we fix it free or refund you in full.
